Currently, I'm shifting the
saddles I'm making over to trees built by such master tree makers as
Bill Bean, Rick Reed, etc. The quality of these simply cannot
be touched by a production saddle tree. I've defended
"some" production tree makers in the past, I know
this. However, a true, custom built saddle should be built on
a true, custom built tree. Trees built by the above makers have
superior lacing, superior bullhide, and just plain better overall
craftsmanship that can be detected by even a novice. As stated on my
"Pricing" section, the ONLY
additional charge to my customers for one of these custom trees is
what I have to pay for it, and it will be well worth it in the long
run for you, the customer.
