Finishing up a saddle built on a new tree from Warren Wright (New Zealand). This is a 16″ tree built with a Hamley Roper 11″ swell. The cantle height is 4″. The horn is a 4″ (will finish around 5″) dally style from Warren’s collection. This is as good a ranch/roper tree as one will find. And, Warren’s trees fit horses wonderfully! His trees are 100 percent hand-made with no mechanization used. Call me to reserve it!
I found this great custom saddle guide I’d like to share. It discusses how to beware of low-priced custom made saddles, why custom made saddles are expensive, and also why there is a wait time to get your custom made saddle. Please do your homework and understand that a custom made saddle is an investment that highly benefit you and your horse if you are one to spend many hours in the saddle.
At Estes Saddlery, ONLY top quality materials are used. NO production trees, no imported leather, and no cheap hardware. Each and every detail of your custom saddle is made with care. With this does come a price, but you will not be disappointed in your investment.
Also, be sure to review my video on what a custom made saddle at Estes Saddlery is all about.
I have some saddle trees ready for a custom order waiting! Get ahead of the line and contact me if you’d like to take a look at them to see if they will fit your needs.
