Equine twins are a rare occurrence, but it does happen.  What's even more rare are for both of them to live.  On June 11th, 2001, an outstanding MPHA mare named Mandy Clay gave birth to a set of healthy palomino twins, sired by the legendary MPHA stallion Goldfinger.  These babies were born and raised at Double W Stables in Mt. Sterling, Ky.  We bought the filly, Goldfingers Ann, the Summer of 2002.  We really didn't want to separate the twins, but we only had room for one more horse at the time.  After breaking Annie and seeing what a wonderfully gaited, smart horse we had, we just couldn't resist making another trip to Mt. Sterling to buy her twin brother, Andy.  Fortunately, the Wattenbergers at Double W still had him.  So in March, 2004, the good Lord made the way for us to bring home Goldfingers Andy to be reunited with his twin sister, Annie!

They are both VERY smooth gaited, sure-footed trail mounts, and smart as whips!  The twins are outstanding examples of what the Mountain Pleasure Horse is supposed to be... PURE PLEASURE!!

Here are a couple of videos of the twins:
Andy     Annie

Annie happily lives with Sherry in Maryland and Andy happily lives with Carolanne in Alberta, Canada.  They are giving them the attention we no longer had time for.
